ME

ME is suitable for person weights from 45 to 150 kg. The backrest can be adjusted in height by 70 mm on request and has an optional height-adjustable lumbar support (continuously adjustable by up to 70 mm), optional 15 mm continuous depth adjustment with handwheel. The backrest and seat can be locked in the horizontal 0 position, and the optional 5° seat tilt adjustment can be switched on using a rotary lever.

The seat height is infinitely adjustable by pushbutton between 400 mm and 530 mm by means of a gas pressure spring according to DIN 4550, optionally with depth springing, then seat height 420 mm - 530 mm. Seat depth: 430 mm, optional integrated seat depth adjustment by up to 100 mm (380-480 mm), adjustable by button while seated. The models with elevated seat position (ESP) are continuously height-adjustable between 430 mm and 610 mm, and the counter chairs between 650 mm and 770 mm.

The following controls are made of black through-dyed plastic: button for height adjustment and locking, button for seat depth adjustment, rotary knobs for weight adjustment and locking of the back frame. The height-adjustable lumbar support is designed in black or white, analogous to the frame color.

Frame

Five-arm base made of black through-dyed plastic, optionally in white or coated aluminum (in black or white textured matt) or high-luster polished aluminum. Load-dependent braked twin wheel swivel casters made of black polypropylene in compliance with DIN EN 12529 as standard version for carpet floors, optionally with gray running surface made of polyurethane for hard floors. Casters electrically conductive on request. Mechanism case made of aluminum, black powder-coated.

Counter chair

With extra height-adjustable foot ring, bright chrome-plated, with locking screw and load-dependent braked twin wheel swivel caster.

Back and seat

Back frame in black or white through-dyed polyamide with mesh back made of 80% recycled post-consumer polyester and 20% elastomer. Optionally height adjustable by 70 mm. Seat shell and back frame in black through-dyed polyamide. Optional backrest upholstery of padded mesh back covered with fabric. Optionally with height-adjustable lumbar support, in the same color as the frame, black or white.

Seat upholstery made of CFC-free foamed polyurethane, covered with fabrics from the Wilkhahn fabric collection. Seat optionally with soft padding (with contoured foam, 65 mm) and surrounding stitching. Upholstery and covers are replaceable. Optional seat depth extension up to 100 mm.

Optional armrests

2-D or 4-D armrests of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, through-dyed black or white, with arm pads of polypropylene, through-dyed black, optionally with arm pads of polyurethane foam, through-dyed black. 2-D armrests are adjustable in height by 100 mm and in width by 35 mm each. In case of 4-D armrests, the armrests are adjustable in depth by 50 mm and can additionally be swiveled inwards and outwards by 15° or 30°.

Accessories

A clothes hanger to be mounted separately on the back frame is optionally available for all models.

Alternatively, a headrest made of solid-colored polyamide is available for all models (analogous to the frame color black or white, 60 mm height-adjustable in 6 grid positions, 125° tiltable, thus approx. 50 mm depth-adjustable). Either covered with 34 Vivid fabric to match the backrest cover or in black metal or, for models with backrest upholstery, with 34 Vivid fabric (black metal or digital white), 37 Racer (black) or upholstered (fabric to match the backrest cover in terms of color and material). The headrest is not available in combination with the clothes hanger. Retrofitting is possible on request.

Knock-down

On request, ME swivel chairs can also be delivered partially pre-assembled in a cardboard box. By using knock-down packaging, the transport volume can be reduced by up to 66% to just 0.22 m3.
