Yonda stands for durable, comfortable and versatile chairs that follow the principles of a future-oriented circular economy through their design, choice of materials and workmanship.
The name itself reveals the aspiration: the idea of “beyond” is contained in Yonda – in the sense of “beyond”. With this approach, the designer duo neunzig° design has created an archetype of the shell chair that combines timeless aesthetics with the requirements of modern living and working environments.
Expressive design, variety and comfort
The generously sized seat shell is made of BioComposit—a material blend of 70 percent recycled polypropylene and 30 percent locally sourced wood scraps—yet still appears elegant and lightweight. This is thanks to the cleverly designed armrests, which slope downward and taper toward the front, combining a dynamic look with high comfort. Even the unupholstered version offers well-thought-out seating comfort, which can be further enhanced with a felt pad, an integrated seat cushion, or a fully upholstered interior.
A design highlight is the optionally available seat cushion with a Y-shaped recess—a stylish detail that references the collection’s name.
Variations for maximum flexibility
The Yonda multipurpose chair offers numerous design options to meet a variety of needs:
- Seat shell in six colors and four upholstery options.
- Various frame options: available with a wood, four-star, or five-star base, and—depending on the model—with or without casters.
- Materials: The BioComposit seat shell consists of 70% recycled polypropylene and 30% locally sourced wood scraps.
- Adjustable seating comfort optionally available with a 3-D elastic tilt function.
Yonda wooden frames – a new variety
The Yonda family now offers even more design options: choose from five stylish wood finishes – natural oiled oak, white oiled oak, black lacquered oak, natural oiled walnut or graphite stained oak. These high-quality surfaces give your Yonda furniture a warm, natural aesthetic and blend harmoniously into any interior design concept.

A versatile shell chair collection featuring a BioComposit seat shell made from 70 percent recycled polypropylene and 30 percent wood fibers from waste wood. Various base and upholstery options make it suitable for use in conference rooms, meeting areas, cafeterias, restaurants, hotel rooms, and private living spaces.
