The architects discussed the interior design concept for the interior with the client. The goal was for the offices to be communicative, open spaces in order to foster team building and interaction. They also didn’t want any hierarchies and specifically dedicated workspaces evident in the architecture, but placed emphasis on natural and high-quality materials, matte surfaces and a range of different working environments. The premises look professional but have the sort of comfortable, laid-back appeal that gives staff and customers the feeling that they are in good hands. The result is a prototype for the future of banking, which combines a high-tech infrastructure with an emotive appeal.

The large atrium, which is as tall as the building itself, is the customer service area. It lies at the heart of the new build and its combination of white elements and solid wood looks very attractive. The exceptionally motion-stimulating IN office task chairs (design: wiege) are placed at the customer-service terminals.

The emphasis is on teamwork here and three board members sit at a customized, crescent-shaped Graph table. Just like the conference room, the Graph chairs have casters so that they can be moved about.

The Graph conference table system for 32 people is in the shape of an open triangle. It was custom-made with solid oak panels and fitted to add multi-media capability too. The Graph chairs also stand apart here for the superior comfort and integrated, subtly organic form (design: jehs+laub).
