Anyone interested in architecture and design, likes to read to find out more about the latest trends. This year, the platform, which is one of the biggest and most influential worldwide, invited entries for the eponymous award for the second time. The judges present prizes to excellent construction projects, interiors and contemporary designs as well as to the studios, architects and designers behind the projects. We couldn’t be prouder that Wilkhahn’s dynamic AT office chair with its free-to-move capability came top in the workplace design category of this year’s Dezeen Award.

And as if that weren’t enough, AT also won the next prestigious award. The Architecture MasterPrize pays tribute to creativity and innovation in the fields of architectural design, landscape architecture and interior design. With entries from over 65 countries, the winners of the Architecture MasterPrize are the creme de la creme. At the awards ceremony in the world-famous Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, our chair range won a prize in the products/furnishing category.

Whether Virgil Abloh, Werner Aisslinger or Tom Dixon – the choice made by the prestigious judging panel proved that AT stands for healthy movement while sitting, combined with high-quality design. And because the backrest bearer comes with a mechanism permitting automatic weight adjustment, AT makes embracing a healthy range of motion while sitting child’s play for everyone. The configuration options are equally impressive. Thanks to the innovative sit-to-stand elevated sitting position (ESP) feature, users are actively encouraged to alternate between sitting and standing in the workplace. So, it’s no wonder that the smart all-rounder received two standing ovations.

If you’d like to know more about the ESP feature, take a look at the new free-to-move brochure about chairs with elevated sitting positions (ESP).
