Wilkhahn’s a “major German brand”

The third edition of The Major German Brands is entitled Distinctive. Ingenious. The superbly designed book portrays outstanding German brand-name companies and is complemented by articles in which luminaries from the worlds of politics and business comment on issues such as brands’ ambassadorial roles and German brands worldwide.

This year contributions by German foreign minister Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier, minister for economic affairs and energy Sigmar Gabriel and president of the BDI (The Voice of German Industry) Ulrich Grillo underscore the importance of design and strategic brand management for the global success of German companies. The German Foreign Ministry will offer this year’s issue as a gift through its diplomatic missions worldwide in order to highlight the appeal of German brands abroad too.
