Case study - Maersk Maidenhead

Every day, the biggest container shipping company in the world moves many tons of goods through the waters of our earth. Danish global Group Maersk, which also operates the business divisions of oil and gas production and logistics, is now also moving things in its offices. The staff of just under 300 employees at the new British headquarters in Maidenhead, just fewer than 50 kilometres west of central London, are now "trimensioning" on ON and IN task chairs. In addition to 57 Neos cantilever chairs, eight Stand-Up models have been provided to make hips swivel and thoughts fly, which is bound to look good in the open-plan structure of the office. The new nine-floor building "The Point", with a spacious lobby and generous panoramic windows, provides 7,000 square metres of space for several parties. The first-class interior design, the good infrastructure and the proximity to London's airports are to attract companies such as Maersk – previously domiciled in the City of London – to Maidenhead.
