Bahnhof Plön - Touristinfo

A historical station built in 1886 lies direct on the banks of Plön Lake in Schleswig Holstein. The listed building was gutted and newly designed, the idea being to create an open, flexible-use site and give it a special flair with lighting effects. The result was a Welcome Centre, with an integrated tourist information centre, a café with an outdoor terrace, a waiting room with a ticket office and a variable meeting area for events and seminars. The architects used the Aline/230 range as a perfect complement to the transparency and elegance of the interior. Planned by the Nagel firm of architects, our partner Stücker in Kiel executed the contract in 2008.
