The Blavatnik School of Government is a new architectural landmark in the historic university town of Oxford in the UK. Founded as recently as 2010, the school’s mission is to inspire and encourage better government and public policy around the world. It has built up an excellent reputation within a short space of time and produces about 120 masters of public policy annually. The school is named for American entrepreneur Leonard Blavatnik, who contributed a generous donation to make the new build possible.
