Good conditions for a fantastic year 2020: Wilkhahn is delighted to receive a double award at the Iconic Awards 2020: Innovative Interior. The international competition of the renowned German Design Council honours the best design solutions of the past year. In the category “Office and Workplace”, two Wilkhahn products were able to claim the title of “Winner”.
The dynamic conference chair Intra, designed by Phoenix Design, not only keeps body and mind in motion – it also looks damn good. The elegant swivel chair is equipped with a synchronous mechanism and automatic weight adjustment. Flowing lines, precise transitions of high-quality materials and dynamic seating comfort make Intra the new front-runner in modern executive suites – whether in the conference room or at the executive workplace.
It is therefore only natural that the award should also go to the perfect complement to the Intra chair – the modular meeting table Versa, designed by Wolfgang C.R. Mezger. With its elegant, as if cast from one piece, Versa makes a brilliant figure, especially in combination with the Intra. But the modular table system can do even more: thanks to bayonet locks that are as simple as they are ingenious, the table tops can be connected at any time in different geometries and formats without the need for tools and configured to create various settings. Thus Versa offers the right table systems for almost every scenario.
The Iconic Awards: Innovative Interior were awarded by the German Design Council at the imm cologne international furniture fair on January 12th 2020 at the Kölnischer Kunstverein and will be on display there until January 19th 2020.
