Research team develops ideas on the office culture of tomorrow together with Wilkhahn

[Frankfurter Rundschau, 6-24-2000] The article by Monica Weber-Nau deals with the rapid change which today's office world and its forms of communication are undergoing. She predicts that more than half the working population will be working in the field of communication and information in the year 2010 - that means three times as many as fifty years ago. This process of radical change has now led us to rethink not only working hours and work practices, but also office architecture. A research team from the Darmstadt Institut für Integrierte Publikations- und Informationssysteme has therefore compiled ideas, in collaboration with the furniture manufacturer, Wilkhahn, on the topic of "Roomware", which is interactive furniture for those working in tomorrow's field of information and communication.
