| New Sales Director for Wilkhahn from 1st November [08-05-2002] Bad Münder. Wilkhahn, internationally acclaimed office furniture manufacturer, has struck it lucky following a thorough search for the right person: Holger Jahnke will assume responsibility for the management division Sales from 1st November. The 37-year old, father of two, is a proven specialist in the industry. His career path led from Winter Bankeinrichtungen GmbH and office furniture manufacturer Planmöbel to office chair manufacturer Klöber in the Baden area of Germany (member of the Sedus Group), where he became managing director in 1999.
Jahnke explains his decision to join Wilkhahn as follows: "Wilkhahn is one of the leading international manufacturers in terms of design and innovation. I just could not resist taking the opportunity of being jointly responsible for shaping the further development of this company - especially since directors are granted the option right to purchase shares in the company." Dr. Jochen Hahne who, as Chairman of the Wilkhahn Board of Management, has also been responsible for Sales to date, is looking forward to having a committed, dynamic colleague at his side: "By engaging Holger Jahnke we have pointed the way for being in a position to market our corporate profile and the new products which we will show at Orgatec successfully, even in market that is not growing at the moment.
