"Crossover" exhibition in the KAP am Südkai prolonged

[02-03-2005] Cologne. The KAP am Südkai registered approximately 5,000 visitors during the PASSAGEN on the occasion of the imm International Furniture Fair in Cologne. The opening of the exhibition, which was also the inauguration celebration of the KAP Forum, boasted some 2,000 guests alone.

The partners from the KAP Forum demonstrated the soundness of the KAP idea in four very different exhibitions: Dornbracht showed "Ritual-Architektur im Bad", a project in collaboration with the ETH Zurich, and "New Places", a joint project with Alape and E15. Kvadrat presented "Colour Cubus", which set the scene for upholstery fabrics in various colours and textures.

The "Crossover" exhibition, staged by Wilkhahn, clearly illustrated the idea of interdisciplinary cooperation within the KAP Forum: in collaboration with Carpet Concept, Kvadrat and Zumtobel Staff, three monochrome installations employed light, colour and texture to create quite unique scenarios. This ambitious exhibition concept, designed by the wiege design studio, allowed the Wilkhahn DinA range to meander through abstract furnishing contexts: from a shop setting, through an office to a private dining room.

Anyone who did not have enough time for a visit in the course of the packed PASSAGEN calendar still has a chance to do so: "Ritual-Architektur im Bad" and "Crossover" have been prolonged to 13 February and 23 February 2005 respectively. Opening hours: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
